Police search Florence home, arrest 4 on marijuana charges

Four Florence County men, one of whom is a minor, are in the unfortunate situation of facing drug charges. Authorities claim that a lengthy investigation led to a search warrant being issued for a Florence residence. Three of the suspects were said to live in the home.

Myrtle Beach bicycle accident leads to hit-and-run charge

Police in Myrtle Beach claim that a 46-year-old Loris man was in part responsible for the death of a 75-year-old bicyclist. According to police, the man from Loris drove away from the scene after the older man fell over his bike's handlebars. The driver's car and the bicycle never collided, but police say the driver pulled out in front of the rider and caused the accident.

23-year-old South Carolina man accused of having sex with minor

A young man with a previous sex crime conviction was arrested recently in Kershaw County, South Carolina. The 23-year-old was convicted in 2009 of soliciting a 12-year-old girl. That conviction was in Lexington County.

Injured South Carolina teen sues deceased driver's father
