A collision that left one person seriously injured has prompted the search for the individual deemed responsible. Police in South Carolina are looking for a young man they believe was impaired when the accident occurred. When this individual is found, he will be facing a felony DUI charge for his supposed role in the crash.
Law enforcement officials in Aiken are reportedly looking for a 21-year-old male, who they believe is responsible for a crash on a local roadway earlier this month. According to the Department of Public Safety, this individual supposedly ran a red light and struck another vehicle. The driver of the second vehicle suffered significant injuries in the collision.
At this time, the young man deemed responsible for this incident has yet to be located by police. It is believed that alcohol is a contributing factor in the accident and felony DUI charges are likely to be filed. It is unknown if any other charges will be filed in this case, though it would appear probable.
