An employee of Silver Bluff High School in South Carolina was recently arrested and is facing charges for crimes he allegedly committed two decades ago. He has been charged on several counts of sexual assault involving a minor. The accused was placed on administrative leave in May after the alleged crimes were reported to authorities.
The accused, a 48-year-old male, has been a safety monitor at the high school since 2005. The teenager he allegedly assaulted was not a student at the school. It was actually reported that the assaults supposedly occurred between 1995 and 2000, in both North and South Carolina. Along with claiming to be the victim of sexual assault, the young woman claims she was supposedly impregnated and gave birth to a child as a result of one her encounters with her attacker.
The accused was taken into custody by authorities in Aiken County. It is unknown as to whether he is currently being detained or if he has been released on bond. Court dates have not be reported regarding this matter.
